Terms of Use

Last Updated: October 23, 2026

Agreement to Terms

Welcome to MOOD Social & Dating! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MOOD Social & Dating mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Venchur Ave Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using MOOD Social & Dating, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

To use MOOD Social & Dating, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally able to enter into a binding contract
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
  • Not have been previously banned from MOOD Social & Dating

By using MOOD Social & Dating, you represent that you meet all eligibility requirements.

2. Your Account

Creating an Account

You can create a MOOD Social & Dating account using your email address, confirmed with a code we send you. You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.

Account Security

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Don't share your login information with anyone. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately at [email protected].

One Account Per Person

You may only have one MOOD Social & Dating account. Creating multiple accounts may result in all accounts being terminated.

3. Using MOOD Social & Dating

Your Rights

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the MOOD Social & Dating app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Treat other users with respect and courtesy
  • Use MOOD Social & Dating only for lawful purposes
  • Follow our Community Guidelines
  • Not misrepresent your identity or intentions
  • Not use MOOD Social & Dating for commercial purposes or solicitation
  • Not harass, threaten, or harm other users

Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

  • Use MOOD Social & Dating for illegal activities, including but not limited to solicitation of prostitution or distribution of illegal drugs
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Attempt to interfere with the Service's security or functionality
  • Collect or store other users' personal information without their consent
  • Use MOOD Social & Dating to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
  • Submit someone else's face or photos for MOOD Verification, or try to trick or manipulate the verification check

Verification Badges

A verification badge shows that a member passed a check at one point in time: MOOD Verification is a review by our team of the member's live selfies against their profile photos, and Paid Verification is a paid feature. A badge is not a guarantee of anyone's identity, age, background or intentions. We may remove a badge at any time, including when a member's photos change or when we believe the check was misused. Our Privacy Policy explains how MOOD Verification handles your selfies.

4. Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on MOOD Social & Dating (photos, bio, messages). By posting content, you grant Venchur Ave Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

Content Standards

All content you post must comply with our Community Guidelines. We may remove content that violates these Terms or Guidelines without notice.

Reporting Content

If you see content that violates our Terms or Guidelines, please report it using the in-app reporting feature. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

5. Safety Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: MOOD Social & Dating does not conduct criminal background checks on users. We make no representations about the conduct, identity, intentions, or compatibility of any user.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Exercise caution when communicating with and meeting other users. Review our Safety Tips in the app before using the Service.

If you feel unsafe at any point, stop communication immediately and report the user. In case of emergency, contact local law enforcement.

6. Paid Features

How You Pay

Every paid feature in MOOD Social & Dating is bought through the app store you installed the app from — the Apple App Store or Google Play. That store takes the payment. We never see, receive or store your card details.

There is no other way to pay us for features inside the app, and we will not ask you for one.

What We Offer

  • Diamond Expansion Pack — every paid feature, as a weekly, monthly or six-month subscription
  • Customize Expansion Pack — twenty features of your choosing, on the same three terms
  • 7-Day Pass — one feature for seven days. A one-off purchase that does not renew
  • Diamond Offers, and Love Fence locks and keys — one-off purchases of a set quantity

Pricing

The price is shown to you in the app before you buy, and on the App Store or Google Play listing, in your own currency. Your store charges the amount it showed you; that amount differs by country and may include local tax, so the figure you see is the figure that applies to you.

If a price changes, your store tells you before the change takes effect and, for a subscription, asks for your agreement before the next renewal.

Renewal

The Diamond and Customize Expansion Packs renew automatically at the end of each period, and your store charges you again, until you cancel. The 7-Day Pass and all credit purchases are one-off and never renew.

Getting Your Purchases Back

What you buy is recorded on the MOOD Social & Dating account you are signed in to when you buy it, not on the phone. Sign in to that account on another device — even one using a different Apple ID or Google account — and what the account holds comes back; Restore Purchases, in App Settings > Account Settings, refreshes it if anything is missing. A subscription is still billed by the Apple ID or Google account that pays for it, and that is where you cancel it.

Restore gives back what your account still holds that is still active: a pack or pass with time left on it, and credits you bought and have not used yet. It does not bring back a pack or pass that has run out, or credits you have already spent — those are finished. If a purchase is refunded, what it paid for can be taken off your account.

If you pause your account, your purchases are not lost, but pausing does not stop the clock. A pack or pass keeps counting down while you are away, and a Diamond or Customize subscription keeps renewing, and your store keeps charging you, until you cancel it with them. Diamond Offers you bought on their own, and Love Fence locks and keys you have not used yet, do not run out, but a lock already hanging on the fence still comes down on its usual schedule. Restore Purchases does not work while your account is paused. When you restore your account, whatever is still active is yours again. The same applies if we suspend your account and later reinstate it.

Cancellation and Refunds

You cancel with your store, not with us — in Settings on an Apple device, or under Subscriptions in the Google Play app. We do not cancel a subscription on your behalf, with two exceptions: the refund below, which ends the subscription because you asked for your money back, and deleting your account, which cancels a subscription you bought on Google Play (see Termination). Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

We refund a subscription within 24 hours of buying it, if you ask — on Android. In App Settings > Account Settings, tap Request a refund; the option is there for the first 24 hours after you subscribe. Google Play returns the full amount the way you paid, and the subscription and everything it unlocked end straight away. This covers the Diamond and Customize Expansion Packs when you first buy them, not a renewal, and not the 7-Day Pass or credits, which are used as you go.

On an iPhone or iPad, refunds are decided by Apple, not by us — Apple does not let app makers issue them. You can ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Apart from that we do not issue refunds. Apple and Google may still refund you under their own policies, and you may have rights under the law where you live. Where a refund is given, by anyone, the access it paid for ends.

7. Intellectual Property

The MOOD Social & Dating name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade dress are owned by Venchur Ave Inc. The Service and its contents (excluding user content) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.

8. Termination

By You

You can stop using MOOD Social & Dating at any time. To delete your account in the app, go to your Profile, tap App Settings, then Account Status, then Delete Account; if your account is paused, restore it on that same Account Status screen first.

Deleting your account does not refund anything. If you are in the middle of a paid Expansion Pack or a 7-Day Pass, that time is lost, and so are any credits you have not used; deleting your account gives no money back. The 24-hour refund under Cancellation and Refunds is asked for from inside your account, so ask before you delete; after that you can still ask Apple or Google under their own policies.

Deleting your account cancels a Diamond or Customize subscription you bought on Google Play, so it does not renew. It does not cancel one you bought in the App Store, on an iPhone or iPad: that keeps running, and Apple keeps billing you, until you cancel it with Apple.

So if you are paying for a pack through the App Store, cancel it with your store first — in Settings on your Apple device — and delete your account afterwards. This applies however you ask for your account to be deleted.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period.

Termination decisions are at our sole discretion. You won't be entitled to refunds for any prepaid subscriptions upon termination for Terms violations.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

WE MAKE NO WARRANTY ABOUT THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT ON THE SERVICE OR THE CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VENCHUR AVE INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID FOR MOOD SOCIAL & DATING, INCLUDING THROUGH THE APPLE APP STORE OR GOOGLE PLAY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MOOD Social & Dating shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, rather than in court.

You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions.

This arbitration agreement doesn't prevent you from filing complaints with government agencies or seeking injunctive relief in court.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of MOOD Social & Dating after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. General Provisions

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Louisiana, USA
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Venchur Ave Inc.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive our ability to enforce it later
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights freely

Privacy PolicyWhat we collect and how we protect it

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 23, 2026

Welcome

MOOD Social & Dating is operated by Venchur Ave Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), the company responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

By using MOOD Social & Dating, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, and photos you upload
  • Profile Information: Your selected MOODs, bio, interests, and preferences
  • Communications: Messages you send to other users and to our support team
  • Purchase Records: Which paid features you bought and when. Apple or Google takes the payment — we never receive or store your card details
  • Survey Responses: Feedback you provide through surveys or reviews
  • MOOD Verification (optional): Two live selfies, if you choose to verify — section 7 explains how they are used and when they are deleted

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
  • Usage Data: Features you use, actions you take, time and duration of activities
  • Location Data: Your phone's location, only with your permission. If you don't allow location, we estimate your approximate area from your internet connection
  • Log Data: IP address, browser type, access times, pages viewed
  • Invite Links: When you open a member's invite link on our website, we keep a scrambled, one-way form of your network (IP) address, the invite code and your phone type for no more than 24 hours. If you install MOOD Social & Dating and create an account from the same network within 2 hours, we fill that code in for you on the "Did someone send you?" step; nothing is applied unless you tap Apply. We never keep the address itself

Information from Third Parties

  • App Stores: When you buy or restore a purchase, Apple or Google confirms it to us, including whether it is still active, so we can give you what you paid for. We never see, receive or store your card details

We do not receive usage data about you from analytics companies, and we do not buy usage data about you or combine it with usage data from anyone else. The app's own measurements of how MOOD Social & Dating is used are sent to our own servers, and so are the page views our website counts. There are two exceptions. Our error monitoring vendor receives technical information about app sessions, including recordings of a sample of sessions and of any session where something goes wrong, so we can find and fix problems. And videos on our website are played through an embedded video service, which can record that they were watched. Apple and Google also give us overall statistics, such as app downloads, active devices, crash rates and video views, that do not identify you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the Service: Match you with other users, enable messaging, process offers
  • Personalize Your Experience: Show you relevant matches based on your MOOD selection and preferences
  • Improve Our Service: Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, develop new features
  • Communicate With You: Send service updates, respond to support requests, share relevant news
  • Ensure Safety: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Community Guidelines
  • Verify Members Who Ask: Compare a member's live selfies with their profile photos to award the verified badge (section 7)
  • Deliver What You Bought: Confirm a purchase with Apple or Google and unlock the features it paid for
  • Comply With Law: Respond to legal requests and prevent harm

3. How We Share Your Information

With Other Users

Your profile information, photos, MOOD selections, and communications are visible to users you match with. Only users with the same MOOD can see your profile.

When a member shares your profile outside the app, anyone who opens the link sees your display name and your main public photo on our website, and nothing else. That page is not shown while you are on a break, in Ghost Mode, or have no public main photo.

With Service Providers

We share information with the vendor(s) that help us operate the Service. Apart from the app stores, which take your payment, these are described by what they do rather than by name, because a vendor can change at any time:

  • The app stores that take payment and confirm purchases (Apple App Store, Google Play)
  • Our hosting and file storage vendor(s), which run the Service and hold the photos and media you upload, including MOOD Verification selfies in a private storage area
  • Our push notification vendor(s), which deliver alerts to your device
  • Our text message and email vendor(s), which send verification codes, service emails, and the alerts sent by text or email; an alert carries its own words, which can name another member
  • Our AI vendor(s), which write MOODalie's reply suggestions from the messages in each conversation you open while MOODalie is on — the other person's as well as yours — and from what you have taught MOODalie, and turn a voice recording you make for MOODalie into text
  • Our database vendor for MOODalie, which holds what you teach MOODalie
  • Our mapping vendor(s), which turn a location into a place name and find the places you search for
  • Our error monitoring vendor(s), which receive technical information about app sessions, including recordings of a sample of sessions, so we can find and fix problems

These providers only access information necessary for their services and are bound by confidentiality agreements.

With Preferred Partners

We may share aggregate, anonymized data with our Preferred Partner businesses (local venues) to help them understand MOOD Social & Dating user demographics. We never share your personal information with partners without your explicit consent.

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect safety, prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms of Use.

Business Transfers

If Venchur Ave Inc. is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We'll notify you of any such change.

4. Your Choices and Rights

Access and Update

You can access and update your profile information anytime in the app's Settings.

Download your data. You can get a copy of your data in the app: go to your Profile, tap App Settings, then Account Status, then Download Your Data. It is one file (in JSON format) with your account details, profile, location, MOODs, a list of your photos, your purchases, and the agreements you have accepted. It leaves out your password and sign-in details, your device identifiers, your messages, and anything about other members. Your photos themselves stay in the app, where you can see and save them. The file is usually ready within a few minutes, and we send you a notification when it is. You then have 7 days to download it. After that the file is deleted, and you can ask for a new one any time. Each download link works for 15 minutes; tap Download again for a fresh one.

Delete Your Account

You can delete your account in the app: go to your Profile, tap App Settings, then Account Status, then Delete Account. If your account is paused, restore it on that same screen first.

We erase your account as soon as you confirm. That includes your profile, photos, videos and voice notes, your conversations and connections — for the other person too — your offers, games and requests, the events you host, and what MOODalie learned from you. Records that belong to other members stay with them, without your name, email address or phone number: an invite you accepted, for example, is still the inviter's. Deleting your account refunds nothing, and it does not cancel a subscription you bought in the App Store, on an iPhone or iPad — see our Terms of Use.

A few records are kept after that, with your name, email address and phone number removed; section 6 says which, and for how long. If you come back later, you start again as a new member — nothing from your old account is restored.

Location Data

If you allow it, MOOD Social & Dating uses your phone's location to show you people nearby and how far away they are. Your exact location is never shown to other members.

If you don't allow location, we estimate your approximate area from your internet connection. If that isn't possible, we use the city on your profile. Distances to and from an approximate area are shown as approximate.

You can turn location access on or off at any time in your device settings, or switch off Location Sharing under App Settings > Account Information. The app keeps working either way. Only features that need your live position, such as sending your location in a chat or Friend Tracker, wait until it is on.

Friend Tracker. When you share your live location, your phone sends its position to us about every 15 to 30 seconds, including while the app is in the background or your phone is locked, until the time you chose runs out or you stop sharing. Anyone with the link you send can see your latest position, your first name or °Unique Name, and when sharing ends. We keep only the latest position, and delete it within minutes of the share ending. While you share, Android shows a notification and iPhone shows a location indicator in the status bar.

Push Notifications

You can manage push notification preferences in your device settings or in the MOOD Social & Dating app under App Settings > Notification Settings.

Marketing Communications

You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or adjusting your preferences in Settings.

California Residents

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Access Controls: Only authorized personnel can access personal data
  • Regular Audits: We conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing
  • Incident Response: We have procedures to respond to potential data breaches

No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].

6. Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete it:

  • Your profile, photos, messages and connections: erased when you delete, including your side of every conversation — the other person's copy goes too. An alert that was already delivered to someone's phone, email or text messages stays where it was delivered.
  • Purchase records: kept for seven years from the date of each purchase, for tax and accounting, and then deleted. They record what was bought and when, attached to an account record with no name, email address or phone number — never card details, which we never hold.
  • Safety records: reports made about you and reports you made about others, including anything attached to them, and our moderation decisions and bans, with the notes our moderators wrote about them, are kept as long as needed to keep members safe. We remove your name, email address and phone number from them, although a report, an attachment or a moderator's note can still contain what its author wrote or showed.
  • Messages to our support team: emails you send us, and the copies of reports and feedback the app sends to our support inbox, stay in that inbox, with the names and email addresses in them. Deleting your account does not reach them; ask us at [email protected] and we will delete them.
  • If you were banned: we keep a one-way code made from your email address and phone number, so that they cannot be used to open a new account. The code cannot be turned back into either of them; it can only tell us whether the same email address or phone number is used again.
  • A statistics record: when you joined and when you left, and which MOODs and badges you had, linked only to an account record with no name, email address or phone number. We keep it for one year, then delete it.
  • Usage measurements: measurements of how the app is used that are tied to your account are deleted after 90 days, and the record of whether you could join 420 Friends after two years.
  • Service providers: copies held by the vendors listed in section 3 are deleted on their own schedules.
  • MOOD Verification: your verification records are erased when you delete your account; selfies are deleted sooner, as section 7 explains.
  • Backups: if a copy of your information is in a backup, it is deleted when that backup is replaced.

7. MOOD Verification (Selfie Review)

MOOD Verification is how a member earns the yellow verified badge. It is optional: you never have to verify to use MOOD Social & Dating.

What We Collect

  • Two live selfies, taken with your front camera inside the app while you hold the poses we ask for. They cannot be chosen from your photo library. Before they are stored they are made smaller (at most 1280 pixels on the longest side) and everything except the picture itself is removed, including any location data your phone added.
  • A review record: the poses we asked for, which photos the reviewer was shown, which photos the badge is based on, the decision, when it was made, and any note the reviewer wrote to you.

How It Works

  • A member of the MOOD Social & Dating team looks at your two selfies next to your public profile photos and decides whether they show the same person. We do not make extra copies of your profile photos for this. Only our review screen shows your selfies.
  • There is no automatic face recognition. We do not scan your face, make face measurements (sometimes called a face template, face geometry or biometric information) or compare faces by computer — not from your selfies and not from your profile photos.
  • If we ever add an automatic check, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again before it is used on your selfies.

Why We Use It

  • To confirm that the person taking the selfies is the person in your profile photos
  • To award the yellow verified badge, and to remove it when your photos no longer support it
  • To help prevent fake profiles, such as selfies that are copies of photos rather than live pictures

What We Keep, and For How Long

  • Selfies are deleted as soon as a decision is made (approved, rejected, closed because your main photo changed, timed out or badge removed), and after 30 days at most even if no decision has been made.
  • When you are approved, every verification selfie we hold for you is deleted at once — from this attempt and any earlier one.
  • If our team has not reviewed your selfies within 30 days, we delete them, let you know, and you can verify again whenever you like.
  • We keep the review record while you have an account. It holds no pictures and no face measurements.
  • If you delete your account, your verification records and any selfies still held are erased with it.

Who Can See It

  • Only the MOOD Social & Dating review team. We do not send your selfies or your photos to any outside face-recognition, biometric or identity-verification company.
  • Other members only ever see the badge — never your selfies or the reason for a decision.
  • Your selfies are stored in a private storage area with our hosting and file storage vendor (section 3), which holds them for us and does not analyse them.

The Badge

  • The badge is based on your main photo and the photos the reviewer compared your selfies with. If you change your main photo, or fewer than three of those photos remain public, the badge is removed and we let you know so you can verify again.
  • A reviewer may decline a verification and tell you why; you can try again.

Your Consent and Choices

  • We ask for your consent before we take any selfies, and the camera does not open until you agree. You can say "Not now" and keep using MOOD Social & Dating as normal.
  • To withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your verification information, email [email protected]. We will remove your badge and delete your verification records and any selfies we still hold.

Notice for Residents of Illinois, Texas, Washington and Other States With Biometric Privacy Laws

  • MOOD Verification does not collect biometric identifiers or biometric information: no face template, face geometry or other face measurement is made from your selfies or your photos. A person compares the pictures.
  • If that ever changes, we will update this policy, publish a retention schedule for that information, and ask for your consent before collecting it.
  • We do not sell, lease, trade or otherwise profit from your selfies or your verification information, and we do not disclose them to anyone except as described in this section or where the law requires it.
  • Our retention schedule: selfies are destroyed when a decision is made, and no later than 30 days after they were taken.
  • We protect this information with at least the same care we use for the rest of your personal information (section 5).

8. Children's Privacy

MOOD Social & Dating is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we've collected information from a minor, we'll delete it immediately. Contact us at [email protected] if you believe a minor is using MOOD Social & Dating.

9. International Users

Venchur Ave Inc. is based in the United States. If you use our Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using MOOD Social & Dating, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of MOOD Social & Dating after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

  • Select "Report"
  • Choose the reason and provide details
  • Your report goes to our moderation team

What Happens After

  • A moderator reads it
  • We may contact you for more information
  • We take action based on severity: warning, suspension, or permanent ban
  • We do not tell them who reported them. Depending on what happened, they may still work it out. If that puts you at risk, contact your local emergency services — Online safety in Settings has helplines you can use now.
  • We may not be able to share what happened to another member's account

Enforcement

Warnings

For minor first-time violations, we may issue a warning explaining the issue.

Suspensions

For repeat or moderate violations, we may suspend your account. A suspension is not a permanent ban, but it does not expire on its own — a moderator lifts it. If you believe yours is wrong, appeal using the route below.

Permanent Bans

For serious violations, we permanently ban accounts. Serious violations include:

  • Harassment or threats
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Illegal activity
  • Sharing explicit content involving minors
  • Creating multiple accounts after being banned

Permanent bans are final and apply to all future accounts.

Appeals

If you believe your suspension or ban was made in error, you can appeal by emailing [email protected] with:

  • Your username
  • The date of the action
  • Why you believe it was incorrect

We'll review appeals and respond within 7 business days.

Child Safety StandardsAdults 18+ only. Zero tolerance for child abuse

Child Safety Standards

Effective: October 21, 2026

Adults only

MOOD Social & Dating is for adults 18 and older. Minors are not allowed to use it, for any reason. MOOD Social & Dating is operated by Venchur Ave Inc.

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). On MOOD Social & Dating, nobody may:

  • Share, request, sell or link to any sexual image or video of a person under 18
  • Groom a minor, which means building trust with a child in order to abuse or exploit them
  • Sexualise a minor in any way, in words, pictures, role-play or comments
  • Use sexual images to threaten or blackmail a minor (sextortion)
  • Arrange to meet a minor, or offer, buy or traffic a minor, for sexual purposes
  • Help or encourage anyone else to do any of these things

This applies everywhere on MOOD Social & Dating: profiles, photos, chats, games and events.

What we do

  • Age check at sign-up. Every member must give their date of birth when they create an account. The app will not let anyone younger than 18 continue, and our servers separately reject any date of birth that makes someone under 18, both at sign-up and if it is ever changed. A member without a date of birth on file cannot use chat, the grid or other member features.
  • Minors are removed. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we ban it.
  • CSAE means a ban. Any account involved in child sexual abuse or exploitation is banned. A banned account is shut down: it is signed out everywhere, cannot sign in again, and no longer appears in the grid for other members to find. If a banned member deletes their account, we keep a protected fingerprint of their email address and phone number so they cannot sign up again with them.
  • CSAM is removed and reported. We remove child sexual abuse material and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement, as the law requires.
  • We keep the evidence. We keep reports, the chat messages attached to them, and the records of the accounts involved, so they can be given to NCMEC and law enforcement.
  • We work with law enforcement. We cooperate with police and other authorities investigating the abuse or exploitation of children, and respond to valid legal requests.

How to report a concern

In the app: open the profile of the member you are worried about, or your chat with them, tap the menu, and choose Report Profile. Pick a reason (Illegal Acts fits a child safety concern), tell us what you saw, and add screenshots if you have them. A report made from a chat also keeps a copy of the recent messages in that chat for our review. Every report is reviewed by a person on our team.

By email: write to our child safety contact at [email protected]. Put "Child Safety" in the subject line and include the member's name or username and what you saw. Please do not attach or forward any sexual image of a child. Describe it and we will take it from there.

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first. You can also report child sexual exploitation directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline at CyberTipline.org or 1-800-843-5678.

Preferred Partner AgreementFor businesses listed as Preferred Partners

Preferred Partner Agreement

Version 1 · Last Updated: October 21, 2026

About This Agreement

This Preferred Partner Agreement (the "Agreement") is between Venchur Ave Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), the company that runs the MOOD Social & Dating app, and the business that signs in to the MOOD Social & Dating partner portal with the account we set up for it ("you" or the "Partner").

It covers your Preferred Partner listing: your brand card and brand page in MOOD Social & Dating, the offers you make to our members and Ambassadors, and your use of the partner portal. It applies from the moment you accept it in the app, and replaces our member Terms of Use for your partner account.

If you don't agree, don't accept it. You won't be able to use the partner portal, and you can ask us to close your account at [email protected].

1. How the Program Works

  • We set up your account. Our staff create your partner account and give you a temporary password. Your listing goes live only after we have approved your business and you have finished setup.
  • Your listing. Members see your brand card in the People grid and your brand page behind it: your photos, description, member offer and the ways to reach you. You choose the MOODs and the areas where your listing shows.
  • Your member offer. An offer for any MOOD Social & Dating member: what they get, an optional promo code and an optional link to redeem online. It shows on your card and your brand page.
  • Your Ambassador perk. An offer only for MOOD Social & Dating Ambassadors, shown in the Ambassador Portal. Ambassadors earn sparks for helping grow MOOD Social & Dating and spend them on perks. You set what the perk is; we set how many sparks it costs. Sparks are a reward inside the app. They have no cash value, and neither you nor we pay anything when one is spent.

2. Honouring Offers and Redemptions

  • Honour what you publish. You agree to give members and Ambassadors the offer exactly as your listing describes it, for as long as it is live. If you want to change or end an offer, change it in the partner portal first. Any limits, such as dates, locations or "one per visit," must be written in the offer itself.
  • Perks are one-time. Each Ambassador can redeem your perk once. A perk with a code gives the Ambassador a single-use code, shown as a QR code, a barcode and as text. Check it in the partner portal with Check a code before you hand anything over. Checking a code uses it up: a code that is not yours, is unknown or was already used will say so, and you don't have to honour it. A perk with a website link sends the Ambassador to your link, and you honour it there.
  • Treat everyone fairly. Don't refuse an offer or a perk because of a person's race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age (where the law allows an age limit, such as 21 and over), or any other status protected by law.

3. Your Listing Content

You are responsible for everything you put in your listing: your business name, description, photos, offers, codes, links, address and contact details.

  • Be accurate. Your listing must describe your real business and real offers. Keep it up to date.
  • Own your content. Only upload photos, logos and text that you own or have permission to use.
  • Follow our content rules. Your listing must follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, no nudity, sexual or other adult content, nothing hateful, harassing, violent or illegal, nothing that targets or shows minors in an unsafe way, and no false or misleading claims.
  • Follow the law. You must hold every licence your business needs and follow all laws that apply to it and to your offers, including advertising, consumer protection, alcohol and age laws. If your business is cannabis-related, MOOD Social & Dating shows it only where cannabis is legal and only to members old enough, and you must still follow every rule that applies to you.

We may review, edit to correct, or remove any listing content that breaks this Agreement or that we reasonably believe is inaccurate or harmful.

4. Your Partner Portal Account

  • One business. Your account is for your business only. Don't share it with, or use it for, another business.
  • Keep it safe. Change the temporary password we gave you the first time you sign in, keep your password private, and tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Your staff. If you let staff use the portal (for example, to check codes at the counter), you are responsible for their use of it.
  • Not a member account. Your partner account is not a dating profile. Don't use it to browse, message or connect with members.

5. Member Data and Privacy

  • What you see. The partner portal shows you your own listing. When you check an Ambassador's code, it shows you whether the code is good, the Ambassador's display name, the perk's spark cost and when the code was redeemed and used, so you can serve the person in front of you. We may also share reports with you that contain counts only, such as views of your listing or taps on your offer. They never include who the members are.
  • What you don't get. We never give you members' contact details, locations, profiles or any other personal information.
  • No contact or marketing outside MOOD Social & Dating. You may not use anything you learn through MOOD Social & Dating to contact, track or market to members or Ambassadors outside the app. You may not copy, collect, store, sell or share their information. This doesn't stop you from serving a customer who comes to you, or from keeping your normal sales records.
  • Members can reach you. The website, phone number, email and social links you add are shown to members so they can contact you. Only add details you are happy to make public.

6. Our Rights

  • Approval. We decide which businesses become Preferred Partners, and your listing shows only while we have approved it.
  • Editing your details. Our staff can update your account and listing details, for example to correct a mistake you ask us to fix.
  • Deactivation and removal. We may hide your listing, lock your partner account or remove you from the program at any time, including if you break this Agreement or if we change or end the program.
  • The app. We decide how MOOD Social & Dating works, including where and how often partner listings appear. We don't promise any number of views, members or Ambassadors.

7. Fees

There are no fees or payments between you and us under this Agreement. You don't pay us for your listing, and we don't pay you for your offers or for perks Ambassadors redeem. If we ever agree on paid placement or any other payment, it will be in a separate written agreement signed by both of us.

8. Ending This Agreement

  • By you. You can hide your listing in the partner portal at any time, and turn it back on later. You can delete your partner account from the portal; this is permanent and your company cannot be restored. You can also ask us to close it at [email protected].
  • By us. We can end this Agreement or close your account at any time, as described in section 6.
  • After it ends. Your listing and your perk stop showing, and no new perks can be redeemed. For 30 days after this Agreement ends, you must still honour any Ambassador code that was redeemed while your perk was live. Sections 5, 9 and 10 continue to apply.

9. Liability and Indemnity

  • The app is provided "as is." We work hard to keep MOOD Social & Dating running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that your listing will bring you any business.
  • Limits. To the maximum extent the law allows, Venchur Ave Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising from this Agreement or the program. Because the program is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to $100.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for your business, your products and services, your offers and your listing content. You agree to defend and cover Venchur Ave Inc. against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your listing content, your offers or how you honour them, your products or services, or your breach of this Agreement or the law.

10. General

  • Changes. We may update this Agreement. When we do, the partner portal will ask you to review and accept the new version before you can keep using it.
  • Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, where our home office is, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
  • Our relationship. We are independent businesses. This Agreement doesn't make either of us a partner, employee, agent or joint venturer of the other in a legal sense, and doesn't let you use the MOOD Social & Dating name or logo outside the app without our written permission.
  • Entire agreement. This Agreement is the whole agreement between us about the Preferred Partner program, unless we both sign something else in writing.
  • Other terms. If any part of this Agreement can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer this Agreement to anyone else without our written permission; we may transfer it as part of a merger, sale or reorganisation.
